Today serves as the biggest day in U.S. history. Donald J. Trump has sworn in and taken the Presidency. Currently, the traditional inauguration luncheon has resumed and it is time for Mr. Donald. J. Trump and the first lady, Melania Trump, to make their detour to the White House.
WILL THEY WALK DOWN PENNSYLVANIAN AVE? WILL THEY DRIVE HALF WAY, AND WALK THE REST OF THE WAY? It is 47 degrees and a beautiful day!
This is a moment that will go down in history. What an honor it is to watch this with our very own eyes! Today we are all apart of Trump’s victory.

History of the Presidential Inauguration Walk:
In 1977, after taking oath Jimmy Carter set out to take the longest inauguration walk in the history of the office. Carter, his wife Rosalynn, and 9 year old daughter, Amy, walked for more than one mile along Pennsylvania Ave. from the capitol to The White House.
After completing this walk, it became a feature in many of the presidential inaugurations that followed. Since then, many presidents have either taken this walk, or traveled by vehicle.
