Barack Obama crossed the line with a new attack on Fox News and conservative media and it leaves him open to calls of hypocrisy.

Obama called Fox News little more than a propaganda network with little regard for the truth. Who pushed the phony Russian story? CNN and MSNBC who even hired the people behind the false story.

Look, Fox News is friendly to Trump but not all the hosts are – Chris Wallace for one routinely gets under Trump’s skin.

Also, we remember when Obama tried to ban a Fox reporter from the daily press briefings until other members of the media stopped him.

MSNBC for one leans way left so Fox ads balance and while leaning right does call out Trump when he makes mistakes. If Trump said this it would be an attack on the free press but when Obama says it crickets…

“This is serious business. Whatever you’ve done so far is not enough. And I hold myself and Michelle and my kids to the same standard,” Obama said.

“I am here to say the help is on the way if we do the work because there’s nobody I trust more to be able to heal this country and get back on track than my dear friend Joe Biden.”

“We have seen over the last couple of years is a White House enabled by Republicans in Congress and a media structure that supports them and has not just differed in terms of policy, but has gone to the very foundations of who we are and who we should be,” Obama said.

He said Trump uses division “and it’s amplified — there’s a whole megaphone of conservative media that has ramped that up.”

“If you’ve got an uncle, or a grandmother, who is watching Fox News and listening to Rush Limbaugh — if I say something to her or him, they’re not gonna be paying much attention,” Obama said.

“In fact, I can’t reach them. But you can.”

“Our country’s future hangs on this election. And it won’t be easy,” Obama said.

“The other side has a massive war chest,” Barack added.

“The other side has a propaganda network with little regard for the truth,” Obama said.

“We can’t be complacent or smug or sense that somehow it’s so obvious that this president hasn’t done a good job, because look, he won once,” Obama warned.

“Unlike our current president, we recognize that we have a public health crisis going on,” Barack said.

“Just because this energy is out there, it does not mean that it assures our victory,” he said.

“And it does not mean that it gets channeled in a way that results in real change.”
