Barack Obama is desperate to make everyone believe the economic miracle happening in America today is his doing.
It is an astounding claim to be sure and he knows better. Presidents are rarely solely responsible for something as complex as the US economy.
But they can put the breaks on with burdensome regulation and implement other anti-growth policies.
Enter Larry Kudlow. From The Daily Caller:
“I don’t think he is right with all respect to former President Obama,” Kudlow said, adding, “under his stewardship the so-called recovery was, I don’t know, 2 percent average per year, which is really the worst since the, I believe since the depression … already, we have beaten our critics, including Obama’s staff people.”
He was referring to Obama’s bold claim he made at a rally in Nevada.
“By the time I left office, wages were rising, uninsurance rates were falling … and that’s what I handed off to the next guy. So when you hear all of his talk about economic miracles right now, remember who started it,” Obama droned on.
Obama took a thinly-veiled shot at Trump later, “Unlike some, I actually try to state facts—I believe in facts- I believe in a fact-based reality, a fact-based politics,” he said. “I don’t believe in just making stuff up. I think you should say what’s true.”
Then he went all arrogant again and said this was an even more important election than his…look we don’t have time to get into all Obama misstatements above.
Just know this, it was only after he took office that the Democrats lost all power in America – from statehouse to statehouse all the way to Congress, Obama oversaw the ruin of the Democrat party and the rise of Trump.
For one reason – Americans aren’t stupid.
You didn't build that @BarackObama
